• Shout Details Reports of a Fire/Smoke within a 24 ft sea ray sports cruiser with 3 adults and 5 year old onboard, crew launched and made best way to incident scene. We requested from police Scotland on launching for SAS to be requested to attend DMMS and if possible Rescue 199 due to nature of call. On scene 15 mins from initial call out where we transferred occupants to lifeboat, due to possible smoke inhalation and for medical care we left the stranded boat and took injured party’s to DMMS. On arrival SAS that was requested before launch were not present , when asking for ETA the control had boat asked for them yet ! Two crew were left with the casualty’s and rest of crew back out to attend with boat.
